    1. A good little cafe in the nearby hills, seating inside as well as out. Large wood fire inside for cold days, well worth the drive up the windy road to get there as the staff are also part of the experience as well

  1. Simple pleasures, yes please. Coffee, a book and a stream of passersby to observe. Or coffee and a long chat with a friend I hardly see. Preferably at the best coffee place in the district where the coffee is excellent, the service always friendly and the tables are right beside the sea.

  2. more and more places are becoming dog friendly and that’s a good thing. Not it’s not always about coffee. There is so much more

    1. I’m not a doggy person but this little cafe always seems to attract ‘nice’ dogs so I’m comfortable being there at the same time as them.

    1. The coffee there is always good so it’s a given it’s always enjoyed. The other pleasures run alongside at the same time. Just some days they seem that little bit more interesting 😊

  3. Simple pleasures and ordinary days are the best. Coffee is nice too thought. My simple pleasure today was looking at clouds against a blue sky.

    1. Blue skies (which I’m a definite lover of) are in short supply here at the moment Jane so pleasures have to be gleaned elsewhere.
