I love my books, we have thousands of them and treasure every one. They are old friends that stayed by my side though good times and bad times. I also love my Kobo e-reader, I pay for the service and can take my time savouring a unowned book, not having to worry about returning it to library or renewing it.
Sadly, I am beginning to cull my vast book collection, donating them by the box load to charity shops. I much prefer reading a real book, but our County library also has a great digital collection through BorrowBox. I get to download and borrow 8 ebooks at any one time which is very useful for travelling and is totally free. One day I’ll miss the cluttered bookshelves but, believe me, I still have a long way to go.

I have downloaded Kindle to my ‘phone, originally so I did not disturb Leo when reading in bed….but there is nothing like a book in the hand…..
