Just one question……

Would that be 1 or 2 litre bottles?

Oh and why don’t these ‘new and improved’ shopping trolleys that are finally being rolled out nationwide hold as much as the old style metal ones? And why no hook for your shopping bags?

  1. Hmmm I bet the metal ones last longer and social misfits might throw shopping trolleys in the river (or canal in UK) but they never try to set fire to them.

  2. What hook for shopping bags?

Dan Murphy’s metal trolleys disappeared, replaced by those from Woolworths, across the road. The following week, the metal trolleys had returned. I think they are already plastic in Woolworths here. I only use a basket when I shop.

  3. Trolleys seem to be getting smaller, maybe people buy less these days.

we always wondered how many bottles were involved but now you’ve introduced ANOTHER curly question 😉

  4. I do like the descriptor language on those trolley’s… a good use for 76 milk bottles! It is so fascinating to see a nation that takes action on concerns for our planet (versus living in a nation that is ignoring all the earth’s warnings… sigh.)

  5. New and improved doesn’t always translate well. Although as Kat says, it is nice to see what can be done by a nation who takes action on climate change issues.
