We woke to this yesterday morning…….yes this is tropical Nth Queensland but it’s supposed to be the dry season….

No golf for the man and nothing planned for me so it was a slow start to the day.
Cuppa tea? Yes please.
Toast ok? Yes please, that’ll do fine.
Vegemite x 1 – Marmalade x 1 – followed by Fruit Loaf x 2?
Ooh, Yes please…..
And then what did he do but bring it over to the bed…..

Rule of the house- no food in the bed/room.
Which is a bit hard to abide by here as it’s just a big kitchen/living room/ bedroom all in one😊
The bed part could’ve be met……unless you’re really hungry and someone hands it to you on a plate (and we all know that …..sometimes…..rules are made to be broken 🤭)

No worries about rain stopping play though…….I definitely had plenty to keep me busy
How was your Sunday?

We are just getting started with our Sunday here in Ontario, Canada.
Another extreme heat wave going on, only 30C on the thermometer, but with the humidity it feels and functions for humans like 40C. Too hot for me!
We get up before the sun comes up, to go for a walk before the heat of the day starts.
This is the hottest summer we have experienced at this property, always humid, but drought conditions at the same time.
Lots to keep us busy indoors with the air conditioning keeping us comfortable. The garden gets watered after sunset, every single day.

Was that raisin toast that I saw? I haven’t had any for months. I am the only one I know who likes it.

l ove that pink. I have the same food rule (alrhough Mr B would eat all his meala in bed if someone delivered them). I hate eating in bed (crumbs, spills, just not in eating mode until up and dressed.) Like your cabin, in caravans rules get a bit bent out of shape – I eat sitting on the OTHER bed.

Sometimes it is fun to bend the rules. A rainy day on a holiday seems made for breakfast in bed.
