Another surprise after using another unfamiliar local car park (Croydon)
On the corner of San Carlos Walk & James Kerr Way – Painted on a shipping container.

Then this in San Carlos Way itself.
‘Carnifex’ by Roger Archbold
A marsupial lion which seemingly roamed wild in the area.
Linking to Monday Murals – it’s a colourful world over there with lots to see.
Also Whatsoever is Lovely – good things to see there as well
Both are lovely. Thank you for finding and sharing them.

Those eyes certainly dominate the space! Watching over you…sort of!

I love them both. By shape the lion marsupial resembles a Tasmanian tiger, especially with the dropped hindquarters.

F says they could drop that container in her front yard any day, but I, the Tigger, find those eyes a tad disconcerting. An owl that big could carry off even a big Tigger like me.

I wouldn’t mind that shipping container in my neighborhood with that excellent painting.

The artists who create the murals are so talented…and very generous to share them with the rest of us. 🙂

Beautiful murals. They really make art of what could be humdrum or even ugly.
