Winter has little ways of telling us it’s not moving on just yet.
After some great days of sunshine and warmth when shorts and T-shirts put in an appearance yesterday was a bit on the chilly side and this was the forecast last night as I was tootling off to bed…..extra blanket in hand. A low of 5C/41f!

Oh looky looky they exceeded their expectations lol. Don’t you love the ‘feels like’ note.
An hour ago when I got up at 6.30 it was 4.2c/39f……..feels like 2.2c!
Whatever way you look at it that’s b………cold!

And looking at what’s ‘promised’ for the next few days – I don’t think I’ll be going far
Thank goodness the gas heater was (finally) repaired because It’s back to tracky dacks and fleecy windcheaters weather!
I’m not looking forward to the hotter weather. The longer it remains cool, the better I like it…but I know wishing for same is just wishful thinking on my part! 🙂
In readiness for what lies ahead I bought another fan last week…a cylindrical one, this time. I have two pedestal fans…and one that needs cold water and some ice put into the tray/container at its base.
I find BOM is pretty always on the mark nowadays with the predictions of what lies ahead.
Have a happy Thursday, Cathy. 🙂

Our predicted lows are a little lower than yours. I won’t might but will be outvoted by both the other human resident and the cat.
Like Lee I am dreading summer.

Oh, dear, that means winter is coming OUR way here, to the States. I do not like winter, but I know it’s a necessary part of the nature. The trees and vines that give us our livelihood here in Central California need the cold, foggy days to help rejuvenate them for next year’s production.

Thanks for the link to the definition of tracky dacks. New phrase to me but very pleasant. I think ours our more tacky dacks!
