Taking a break….

Just recently I was told, ‘for the good of my mental and physical health’ I must slow down.  Seems I’ve been giving too much to others and not enough to myself.

So with that in mind I’ve decided to push the pause button, put Still Waters on hold, and take a break.

Here’s a little bit of trivia for you

Did you know that Pause used as a verb means ‘to stop for a short time’ – and when used as a noun Pause means ‘a short break’?

Not much difference is there?

My Scottish ancestors would just say – I’ll be away for a wee while 😊

  2. That is what I have been doing this winter. Maybe some would call it depression but I am starting to feel the effects of heart failure so I am slowing down and it is not that easy with this coronovirus around the world.

  3. You are the most important person in your world, so it is good you are taking this advice to care more for yourself. A slower pace lets you enjoy each day to the full – and allows you to stop and smell the roses for a longer time 🙂
    Take care, Mxx
