I’ve watched and marvelled over the years as grandchildren have changed their appearance as they’ve moved through their lives from babies to adults.
Recently this took my breath away

We don`t see the Belgian family so often now we are in Costa Rica, but seeing the young ones on Skype brings home to us how quickly they change…youngsters we remember coming for holidays now have kids of their own who in their tuen are growing up so fast…

definitely grown-up and obviously in better control of her destiny. What amazes me when I happen to be in real contact with somewhat local family as how tall they have got – all of a sudden the teen is nearly as tall as me 🙂 etc….
