  1. Cathy: I too seem to mind the weather. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
We have sun here today and one’s spirit just lifts to see more light. We have
had a long winter. Hopefully the good weather here will stay. Nice to hear
    from you.

  2. A time to make yourself and your home cozy. Outdoor walks in the rain and the wind and then back home to your warm and comfortable home to muse how fortunate you are to have such a luxury.

  3. I feel just like that. I woke to 5°C and grey skies, I did manage a walk, but mid afternoon it is no 14°C, not feeling any warmer and we are promised rain! So much for our holiday weekend. 😥

  4. You know me, I find I have to plan out my month or season. It psyches me up for the upcoming weather/seasonal chores. I take a look at what entertainment events are coming up, who I can visit, what new books and movies are coming out, and so on – giving me more to look forward to. Wishing you good cheer!

  5. I always have a hard time getting back “in the groove” after a trip, too. The daily tasks seem mundane and boring after having fun every day. Hope you feel more chipper soon

  6. G’day Cathy. I always find that when I have been on holidays and we have gone somewhere or done something exciting, that coming back home, as much as I love it, to me it is coming back to “the real world” as I call it and it sometimes leaves me flat. Maybe it’s just the weather making you feel a bit low. It’s been very cold here as well and we have had some good rain. But then again, I love this weather. I am a winter girl through and through. On a cold wet day I love to be snuggled up inside with a good book or some sewing to do. Take care. Liz…

  7. Yes cold and looks like rain today. I don’t mind so much except with this weather I prefer to stay home and hibernate, only the world has other plans for me. Oh well. Stay warm.

  8. I always get post-holiday sadness. Ugh.
It’s snowing here. In May. In Canada.
Surprise, surprise, I’ve already put away my shovel and snow tires.

  9. The rainy season came early….so I’ve had to catch up on all sorts of things I’d put aside for rainy days…like the sheets which my husband puts his toe through

  10. It breaks my heart for you, of all people, to be disinterested in life. However this was our worst winter ever and it certainly did not do much for my interest in life so I know what you mean. Hang in there, because it will end.
