Crossed the line yesterday so am now officially in the Northern Hemisphere. Had a fun ceremony on the ship for crew members who’d never crossed before. King Neptune came along as well as our Captain and other senior crew members to say yea or nay to a dunking.
Arrived in Singapore early this morning – at the moment waiting in hotel lobby for room – will be off down Orchard Road later to see what’s changed since our lat visit

I have my husband’s certificate for his first crossing signed by King Neptune. His was a Navy crossing and not a tame one. I don’t think they allow it anymore. He as beaten and his ears were pierced and who knows what else. It was a rite of passage.

Hmmm I can see that we will have to cruise to Singapore next time as flying in does pass muster apparently in getting that certificate! lol Looking forward to reading about your time there. I found it incredibly humid despite being a Queenslander 😦
