Do you see what I see

Just sitting casually waiting for the lights to turn at an intersection close to home
– I’d missed the green arrow so knew I’d be a while –
When I looked across the way to the service station and nearly had a fit
You may have to enlarge the photo to see what I mean
The top number is the one I usually look for
and
I’ve cropped this as far as I can for a better look
Isn’t that a lovley thing to see – I don’t think so:))
Even with discount its waaay too high!

  1. Way too high. I remember a few years back when there was a shortage of getting gas, one gas station hiked up their prices by about eight dollars in the space of a couple of hours. I had passed the gas station after dropping a friend off somewhere and when I came back there it was. There was such an outcry he got into trouble with the law because of it.

  2. I think we will have to go back the horse and buggy, I am making sure that i don't use the car for anything that is 'uneccesary', or maybe buy a treadlie. Now THAT would be a sight Ha-ha.Thanks for dropping in and your kind remarks Cathy, and yes, I am almost back to normal after the awful illness that befell me at Christmas time. Not much fun having a house full of guests (most of them staying with us) and being laid up in hospital. They even had to cook the Christmas dinner !!

  3. G'day Cathy. It won't be too long away and we will be paying $2.00 a litre for fuel. We have four service stations here in town and I have seen the price rise by over 8 cents from what it was in the morning and then passing the same service station in the afternoon. It is scary what is happening and it will only get worse. Take care. Liz…

  4. Our prices here go up and down regularly – there is a cheaper day than the rest of the week and then they hit the sky the next. It just seems some weeks they jump higher and higher and don't seem to go as low as before
